Isabella In Big Trouble

One night, Isabella Garcia Shapiro's bass guitar was spilt out of her suitcase, along with her clothes, cosmetics, and snacks. Her father, Prince Florian, her mother, Snow White, her brother, Lampwick, her pet dragon, Spyro, and her three aunts, Miss Bianca, Teresa Brisby, and Abigail, encircled the black-haired girl, all looking none to happy.

"What is all this?" Florian asked angrily, "You keep secrets from your own family?"

"It's all that time she spends at the movies." Lampwick said.

"She even fills her head with crazy fantasies!" Spyro agreed.

"It's not a fantasy!" Isabella shouted. She handed Florian a photo of her ex father, Tulio, and his new wife, Chel. "That man was Tulio!" Isabella continued, "He was a better father than you are!" She pointed to Tulio in the photo.

"We've never known anything about this man," Florian said. "But whoever he was, he's married to Chel now. This is no future for my daughter."

"But Dad, you said Tulio would guide me!" Isabella said, "Well, Tulio is my father! He's supposed to be Mom's husband instead of you!"

"Never!" Florian yelled, "That man is Tulio's real husband! Your mother and I will not tolerate you running away!"

Isabella tried to reason with her father, "If you could just..."

"Isabella!" Snow White said scoldingly.

"You will listen to your family," Florian scolded, "No more running away!"

Isabella picked up her bass guitar and continued protesting. "But if you would just listen!"

"End of tantrums!"

Isabella was about to play "I See the Light" on her bass guitar when Florian snatched her prized possession away from her. "Do you want to be nabbed by the police?" he yelled, "Taken away? Deserted from your brother?!"

"I don't care if he's my brother!" Isabella yelled angrily.

Snow White, Lampwick, Spyro, Bianca, Teresa, and Abigail gasped in horror. Then the unexpected for the black-haired girl came. Proteus glared at his daughter and lifted the bass guitar in the air.

"No!" Isabella cried.

"Honey!" Snow White called out.

But it was too late! Florian smashed the bass guitar to bits, breaking its strings. "There!" he said, "No more bass guitar, no more Tulio."

When Isabella saw what her father did, she began to cry.

Florian softened and walked towards his daughter. "Awww! Come. You'll feel better after you have supper with your family."

Before he could reach out to comfort Isabella, she pulled away from him in fury.

"I don't wanna be in this family!" She then put her stuff back in her suitcase and ran away from home in tears.

"Isabella!" Florian called out, "Isabella, wait! I..."

But Isabella did not hear him. She had gone far away.

Florian looked at the bass guitar. "What have I done?" he whispered in shame, "What have I done?"
