One day, June and King Candy were arguing about schoolwork in front of her brother, Quincy, and her pet beaver, Norbert. June was tired of doing homework, and Candy was frustrated at June's lack of effort. Neither side was budging over the issue, so Candy told June that she couldn't watch TV or play outside until it was finished. June, in a fit of rage, said that the homework was PINGAS and that Candy was a PINGAS. Candy became furious at her language. Candy had warned her about using words like that before, especially at other people. He was even madder that she cursed in front of Quincy and Norbert.
Candy decided that it was time for action. He grabbed June by the wrist and dragged her to the living room. He had spanked June on a handful of occasions throughout her life, but realized that this was needed. Candy lifted June's tutu, yanked her stockings down, and began to pummel her bare behind in front of her brother and pet beaver as to show that kind of language wouldn't be tolerated in the Connelly house.
After June's long spanking, she was dragged to the bathroom by Candy. He proceeded to wash her mouth out with a bar of soap and lecture her about how inappropriate it is to use that language and how she was a bad example to her brother and pet. After the lecture finished and June rinsed her mouth out, June apologized, and Candy forgave her. June quickly finished her homework, changed into her purple nightgown, pink pajama pants, and white socks, and went to bed early as an additional punishment from earlier.
